The launch ceremony for VOYAH – a premium electric vehicle brand by Dongfeng Motor – was recently held in Tel Aviv, a coastal city in Israel. The first batch of VOYAH FREE vehicles – the brand's first production model – is expected to be delivered to local customers in March this year.
Dongfeng Motor is located in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ).
The ceremony marked the official entry of VOYAH into the Israeli market, and it has become the first Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) brand to do so.
Lu Fang, CEO of VOYAH, said at the ceremony that the name VOYAH came from the English word "voyage", representing a spirit of free exploration. As a Chinese high-end intelligent vehicle brand, VOYAH is striving to contribute to the global dual carbon strategy.
It is also committed to providing optimized trips for drivers that combine technology and nature. The brand will bring more green and intelligent automotive products to Israel, and offer more optimized transport options for local customers.

Local business partners lauded VOYAH FREE's performance in functions, intelligence and interior design. In July 2022, it was granted the European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval (ECWVTA), allowing it to export to the European Union, as well as other countries that acknowledge ECWVTA, such as Norway, Swaziland, and Israel.
This year, VOYAH plans to hold similar launch activities in Sweden, the Netherlands, and Denmark.
