A series of performances organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism were held in Xunyang village, Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) on Jan 9.
The performances are an effort created by the department to showcase folk customs and intangible cultural elements and better serve the nation's rural vitalization goal.
At the intangible heritage exhibition area, booths for traditional Chinese medicine, fish balls, wine brewing, and paper cutting were set up for rural residents to experience.
Calligraphers are also invited to write spring festival couplets for rural residents for free. [Photo provided to en.blycjd.com]
