The construction plan for the Hubei provincial smart transport technology innovation platform has been approved by experts, and Hubei Province's Department of Science and Technology has recognized it as a new R&D institution.
The platform was jointly designed by the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), and teams from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Wuhan University of Technology, and iSmartWays Technology Inc, and was founded in Junshan New City and South Taizihu Innovation Valley.
According to the construction plan, the platform will mainly conduct research on road-vehicle intelligence and integrated control, smart road warning and monitoring, and comprehensive traffic sensing.
