The goals set include selling one million new energy vehicles, commercial vehicles and independently developed passenger cars, respectively during the period.

In 2021, Dongfeng's R&D expenditure rose by 8.4 percent. In addition, the numbers of young, professional, international and knowledge-based staff members are predicted to double.
