        WBU's new campus construction project commences in WEDZ

        The Maying River campus and supporting infrastructure project funded by the Wuhan Business University (WBU) officially commenced in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) on July 28.

        The project, which has a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($147.7 million), will be divided into several phases and is expected to conclude within the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25).

        The first phase of the project includes the construction of teaching buildings, a library, stadium, student canteen, dormitories, talent apartments, horse doping testing center, and equestrian training and examination center, and is scheduled to be finished by the end of 2024.
