The Dongfeng Motor Corporation Technical Center, located in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), and China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co (CATARC) signed a framework contract on July 12 and unveiled two joint laboratories – the automotive hardware-in-the-loop simulation testing lab and the human-machine interaction lab.

Since their comprehensive collaboration began in 2020, the two sides have been adhering to the principles of sharing, practicality and mutual benefit. The new labs will be devoted to building reliable automobile electronic control products, with their main focus on new energy vehicles and intelligently connected vehicles, in order to further enhance the domestic automobile ecosystem.
