Dongfeng Motor Company Limited -- the major auto manufacturer based in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) -- has been making efforts in delivering supplies to three nursing institutions for the aged in the WHDZ, according to news agency Xinhua.
Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia, the eldercare institutions have employed closed-off management to strengthen their virus prevention and control.
Starting Feb 23, Dongfeng Motor's service team has undertaken tasks such as on-duty care and security services for three eldercare institutions in the WHDZ, as well as assisting in the distribution of supplies.
So far, the institutions have reported no cases of coronavirus infection.
