Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co Ltd is an automobile manufacturing company headquartered in Wuhan, China, and a 50:50 joint-venture between Dongfeng Motor Group and Honda Motor Company.
The company was established on July 16, 2003, with the registered capital of 250 million dollars.
The company covers an area of 760,000 square meters, including 219,000 square meters of floor area.
The third factory project will be founded by Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co Ltd, with a total investment of 10.5 billion yuan ($1.53 billion). The project includes the construction of a vehicle factory, an engine factory and a new research and development center.
The vehicle factory is expected to have an annual production capacity of 256,000 vehicles, and a maximum output of 300,000 vehicles. The engine factory will have an estimated output of one million units.
It is the first company in Wuhan's industrial sector that achieved annual output value of over one hundred billion yuan without owning any subsidiary companies.
