Li Xuexiang is the general manager of the developer of the Hongtai International Aviation Engineering Center, the main venue of the upcoming World Fly-in Expo, which will be held at the Hannan General Aviation Airport in WHDZ, Hubei province, Nov 4 -7.
“We will focus on linking the Wuhan urban economic circle with the western part of the province and enable the air routes to expand to the underdeveloped areas in west Hubei,” Li said, adding that the ultimate purpose is to promote the "full" and "balanced" development of the whole region.
He said the Hannan General Aviation Airport, where his company is located, will serve as an important transportation link between the developed cities and less-developed areas.
"We had 50,000 delivery vehicles at ports two years ago, and the number will reach 220,000 this year and 800,000 in five years," said Wang Ji, general manager of Wuhan Changsheng Gangtong Automobile Logistics Co.
Wang is deeply encouraged by President Xi's report and confident in building the company into a leading automobile logistics provider in Central China.

Liu Haiyuan, chairman of Wuhan Dahankou Food Co, said his company is developing unmanned vending machines for its specialty products – one of which is hot dry noodles, also known as "reganmian", a traditional Wuhan dish.

"We are working on implementing China's Industry 4.0 strategy," Liu added.
Industry 4.0 integrates robots, intelligent equipment and information technology in the manufacturing process.
He said the company will display the self-developed automatic vending machines at agriculture and food expos.
